The OLE DB provider for Sybase, 'Sybase Adaptive Server Anywhere OLE DB Provider 9.0', now appears in the list of available providers within the Connection Manager dialogue. Short response, I'm in tech suport and do not know specific licensing questions. I work more in the tech support rather than the licensing for the products themselves. I'm not as familar with what we allow customers to do without gathering fully paid licenses. To my knowledge, we do not offer any ODBC trials. This is because you do not need a generated license to run ODBC as you do for ASE (sysam licensing) and it would be impossible to monitor. The only trial is for ASE which is available from the above link. To make sure you are not doing something illegal or use a product without the specific license or agreement, I would talk to customer service or sales as they know what is allowed when using our products.
